This is my Space dawg, shes 7 foot touching the light 1st week in flower, never pruned. I do believe we have a huge difference.

Just out of curiosity is your space dawg from seed or clone ? Secondly to the Op, defoliate . Little by little from the top down will not hurt anything. You will find some are completely against it some are for it . This issue is for you to learn and form your own opinion . You take clones ? Run a side by side test for every strain you do and see whether or not it either reacts well to it or dislikes it . Just like every other variable us growers deals with throughout the endless learning curve . No right or wrong way just try . Selective pruning is best in my opinion .

not gonna like. gsc likes the defoliation.

all clones and yes i have other space dawgs this one seems to like not being touched. so ill be doing another strain and verifying what i have.

How do yu figure a plant doesnt like defoliation? Ive never had a plant straight up die from it. Worst case ive seen is.. maybe slowed/stunted growth? I've never come across a strain i cudnt bend, twist, and cut to my liking. Never had a plant hermie either. Its jus a weed, AND a female. Slap that bitch around and she'll put out ;)

...slap her to hard and she'll bust nuts thou. And not the good kind >.>
