DSC_0117.jpg DSC_0119.jpg So this is my first grow, my plant is 7 weeks into flower, was grown under 300w cfl until 3 weeks ago when I upgraded to 600w hps. She's an unknown strain although Im sure is indica dominant (short bushy and a maximum of 5 fingers leaves leaves) I plan of giving another week of bloom nutes + pk13/14 then a two week flush although the leaves have been yellowing faster than ever this last week. Can I expect the buds to swell more and gain further weight? Or will the buds just ripen from here on in? Any feedback is welcome!

Your about max unfortunately but with alot of Indicas youll find buds that need a little more time beneath the larger colas .Those yellow leaves are killin me G.

Thanks for the response man! I always thought plant should be allowed to become N deficient in late flower? I could probably give her some veg notes to help them?

Do NOT give N at this point. The yellow leaves? The plant has shifted and is now taking the N it needs from them.

i would not try to fight the n battle now, either. if you didn't want them to yellow you should have kept some n going all through the flower. you might want to start giving smaller amount of nutes at this point to allow her to use whatever is left in your medium.

The yellow ispart of the completion in the plant and IS normal. Giving excess N in late flower is not advisable.

7 week ,leave them another week, and yes weeks 7/8/9 are by far the best weeks for plants gaining weight, leave another week at least you will not see a lot by eye but you will see on the scales in the end they will fatten.

It's where most new grower's make a mistake of cropping early let it go full term, this week is very important,i would let it even run till week 9.

There is a bit more, weight wise you can get from this just be patient it will keep crowning, still look's spongy, water that is all the plant need's from now on this will aid in the plants crowning.
