Should I harvest or not

No they're not ready. Don't even bother looking at trichomes while the plants are covered in white pistils like those are.

It seems many newer growers read about amber pistils and go out of their way to find them. When they see a few they're ready to harvest an immature plant. Trichomes are just one measure of a plant being done but are not an absolute. Trichomes can amber for reasons other than the plant being done. Just visually looking at that plant it's obvious it still has weeks to go.

They also read that once 70% of pistils have turned brown the plant is done.

Google is shit lol

That's why I hate this chart floating around that many seem to think is the definitive guide to harvesting. It's absolutely horrible and a cause of many early harvests. It says that once 50-70% of pistils have darkened the plant is at its most potent. I completely disagree with that. 30-50% white pistils means the plant isn't ready not that it's at its most potent.

This is exactly why we see threads like we are in right now.

Riddled with misinformation.
