Those plpants look really healthy. I would flower at 12" to 18" if you have to keep them under 3 1/2'. Aslo, are you thinking about LST or topping the plant? Both might give you more bang for your space. what kind of light are you using?

Burnt, no! Heat stressed, i don't know? Either way, they look pretty nice. I don't know what strain yur growing, but they look Indica dominant. They have those fat leaves and short, stout apperance. Being that, they probably won't stretch too much. I would wait till they got atleast 4 inches taller, for yields sake.

I see the temps. in the pic at 84. That's not extremely high, but try to lower it a few degrees if possible. That may be the source of your concern. But once again, they look pretty sweet from this angle!

I think LST stands for Low Stress Training. Gently bending or tying down a plant to grow more horizontal. Works well sometimes. As for topping, this is your first grow so why not expirement with one plant just to learn. The results may help you with future grows.

Dude, don't waste yur time with bending and shit. Those plants are short as a mofo. I got two 5 footers in a 6 foot head, now that is a fucking problem. Just anticipate being 2 1/2 times taller when you start flowering. That's a safe estimate.

2.5 times taller yes, but bendingand topping is also a good idea if you want to increase yield

is that including the pot height? like your pot ios a foot tall and then you can have 3 feet of plant? if that is the case i would flower at about a foot tall. also, if i were you i woud definitely do some sort of training whether it be topping or bending and tieing down the branches.

invest in something called superthrive, it helps with stress on your girls
