In a plastic container I put some Roots Organics Original Soil, Terp Tea Grow, Microbe Charge, and Bio-Force. 3-4 days later it looks like this. I wanted to use this for my next top dressing. Should I? or should I not?

Leave it covered and do not mix it.. Let it create its own life without being disturbed..
How would i know when its ready for me to use as a top dress? I was thinking of chopping and dropping some of my cover crop then throwing this on top of it to feed the soil. wouldn’t i disturb it once i use it as a top dress?

Yeah when you mix it and top dress with it you will disturb the life, but you still want to build up as much as you can before disturbing it.. I usually let things sit for a few weeks, there is no set time frame, but the longer you let it sit the more life it will develop.

Do you keep the lid closed 24/7? or do you open it once in a while to get fresh air in there? also do you use it to top dress also?
With worm bins you need holes for oxygen.. I have holes I drilled on the top lid.. The lid stays closed unless Im feeding them, and I have paper overtop of the soil to protect it from drying out..

The trick is to try and disturb your mix as little as possible, the more you mess with it, the more microbial life you could potentially kill off.. Let it sit undisturbed for as long as you can let it sit for " a couple few weeks is a good mark for premixing".. Once its formed an abundance of life, then you can top dress with it, you will disturb some in the process of top dressing but you should have developed enough by letting is sit undisturbed that it wont matter..

My soil beds look like they were infested with white fuzz, good stuff tho and the goal is to keep regenerating that soil life, you can do this by compost teas as well :)
