Showed sex at 45 days, could it be an auto?

I've had this free seed I got form a crummy seedbank, it didn't come labeled so I have no idea what it is.

But, last time I grew out one of these free seeds it ended up being an auto... which was bullshit cause I didn't realize it and cloned the shit out of it, which obviously didn't work out too well. That plant only took, idk, maybe 3 weeks to show sex.

This new plant, I want to clone, but I don't know if maybe it's an auto. I haven't grown many autos (just that one I cloned the piss outta), so I don't know if you can just tell by how many days it took to show sex. Like I said, it showed at 45 days, it's been 48 now, and it doesn't appear to be flowering. 45 days seems like a long time for an auto to take to show, but i really have no idea...

What do you guys think, is it an auto or a photo? Or do I need to wait longer yet?

Yeah man ive grown a "La Diva" auto and right now i have two plants that are non auto "Caramelo and Sensi Star".. Heres the thing im not a pro but ive done my research and have had hands on experince with both, now with that said i can give you info from my experience... when i grew my auto flower la diva she showed sex and flowered right at 4 weeks from seed where my two normal plants didnt show sex till i forced flowered them after 5 weeks from seed with 12/12 ( said two plants were FEM from a seed bank) now from my experience how you will know if its an auto or not is the plant over all will not be very tall or bushy generally they tend to have one main cola bud and thats it but you will know forsure becuz an auto once flowering will take only 30 days to finish vs most normal female plants once flowering will take at least 50 day to 70 days to harvest. Soooo without pictures all i can say is it may be a normal female plant and not a auto flower but you will also know if its an auto if you dont have to put on 12/12 lighting... i did my auto under 24 hour lighting and i didnt change a thing and it fully flowered and harvested. Hope this helps.

It really doesn't matter cause I got two known photos... I just wanna get clone happy is all... lol.
lol nice, ive never ventured into cloning but when i ordered my Fox Farms nutes on ebay the company gave me 5 clone cubes and some nets so idk i think when i have some free time from my other hobbies IE cars and computers ill try to get into cloning... but yeah man i wish ya the best of luck in life and your grow and to be honest i cant give you a clear judgment on your plants knowing i dont have 100% knowledge on the subject BUTTTT if its any help your plant looks like both of my non autos did at that age before i turned on 12/12 lighting then shit man they grew up to 2.5 feet in 2 weeks

Thanks for the piece of mind, man. I think I'm gonna take a single clone and hope it's a photo, and if in a week or so it doesn't start all out flowering I'll take some more. Gotta keep telling myself to be patient.

Definately not an auto. Every auto I've seed would have a lot more flowers at that stage.

That said, you should wait another week or 2 before taking clones, I think. Plant is just out of seedling stage and is growing fast now.
Another week or 2 now will pay off in clone quality and plant yield.

Good luck, BigSteve.

Sweet, thanks. It actually has no flowers, just pre-flowers. I'm gonna flower out a clone, or two, hold on to it for a mother plant in case the bud is any good, so i'm not worried about slowing down it's grow speed, by the time the clone flowers it'll be nice and big regardless... or dead... but hopefully nice and big.

It turned out to be an auto.

My temps got out of control for a couple days, I think that stunted their growth a lot and made it show later than it would had otherwise, maybe.

Either way... live and learn.
