shroom jar placement

So where did you guys put your colonizing jars at t keeo them around 80F

I used the cabinet above my refridgerator. If you don't have one maybe an upside down box on top it or something would work.

i need to keep my temps at 80 so i got to stick to this thread

I have mine on a heat pad, the same one I use for sprouting my plants from seed. Works pretty well. You could also put a box over them, and set a 60w incandescent light bulb next to it, or on it, to heat it up. Just get a small thermometer, and pay close attention to the temp inside the box.

Can you recommened a good heating pad?

I have a heated blanket wrapped around a rubbermaid bin for an incubator. Works great.

I have the Super Sprouter 21x10 Heat Mat, which works well for me. You can get them from plantlightinghydroponics website.

i did the same thing i used my seed warming pad

guys, Heatpads, incubators, and dub tubs are all outdated, roomtemp is actually better, the myc will colonize just as fast. raising the temp to 80 only encourages contam growth. Will incubators work? yea they will, but room temp works just as well. So just put them in a cabinet somewhere room temp and dark.
