Silica Blast for added weight?

I am running DWC with a 10-gallon reservoir for two plants sharing the same net pot. I do not need Silica Blast for extreme environmental conditions but if my branches start tipping over from the weight of heavy buds then it may be beneficial in strengthening the branches, or at least that's what I'm reading from many sources. I have also read in a few places that in addition to strength silica can also add weight to the buds. It doesn't make more, bigger, or more potent buds, just heavier. Can anyone shed some light on this? How much to use, how long to use it for? Thanks much.

I rock Silica all grow, keeps them well. As far as final product... I mean any advantage gives you a better product. But I can't say my silica affected my bud product directly. Just assisting the plant in keeping healthy leaves/stems, etc. Which is well worth it IMO as long as you don't pay out the ass for your nutrient.
