simple question about pH

my pH level is at about 7.5 right now, what can i do to lower it without spending money? i heard something about lemon juice

Wood ash is good for lowering the pH. It's not an exact science though, so be careful.

No, wood ash will raise your PH.
Vinegar will lower it, lemon juice is acidic so it would lower it as well.
PH up or down is cheap, from the hydro store or pet, aquarium shop.
