Simple sistem

I forgot the name of this system but it has a fishtank filled with nutes & the plants is placed on top of the tank. It has a plate that holds plants.
So it works like this: the plant lies its roots in the tank & there is a pump that provides oxigen & nutes going up so the roots get it all. OK probably u didn't understand this =D (because i have lack of words for this process) =D
anybody knows whats the name of this system? & any corrections 4 this?
this is really easy system so i think could use this when i will grow hydroponicly

This sounds like a DWC system, you wouldn't want to use a fishtank though cause the light that would reach the water will cause algae to grow.

check out the Grow FAQ at the top of the page , in the How To (Do it Yourself) Section.. there is all kinds of info there to make your own systems.

the only problem i see with the system is the plants are not going to be at one constant level so you are going to have to fiddle with the lights all the time and if you have a power outage with the roots submerged in the water and the air-stone turned off they will suffocate so have a backup battery terminal

yes this does sound like a hassle. Why not ebb-flow? DWC seems like a bad idea to me.
