I'd go with the new vero 29's over the CXA 3070. pair each one with rosewill CPU cooler with a meanwell LPC-60-1400 and power the fans with a cell phone charger. 42% efficient, right around $100 to build. The vero line is a little more friendly to a first time DIY build.
I would agree with Bicit, I just like the Cree line because it is what I have most experience with. I have one of the LPC-60-1400 that he is talking about on a 3070 and it works like a charm, I also have a larger meanwell hlg-185h-c1400b. I love the meanwell drivers and highly recommend them. I do have one driver from Fastech that @SupraSPL recommended that is also working like a charm, that driver is running 4 Vero 10s

Only thing is finding the meanwell drivers in the UK. Had no luck as of yet.
For the veros what would the best temp to go for be I'm only going to be growing autos. These are my options http://www.digikey.co.uk/product-search/en?FV=ffecac20
Maybe 3k and 2.7K, any thoughts on that? I only say that because I would assume you would want more flower power than veg power. 3K is a solid full cycle spectrum and 2.7k would add the extra boost to flower power? No expert here though:eyesmoke:

If you don't mind waiting a few weeks, the new vero 2.0's will more than likely be listed. When they're listed, they'll be listed in the filter as "vero 29®", they also have a 2 as the second to last digit in the part #. For example BXRC-30E10K0-L-23 instead of BXRC-30E10K0-L-03

You can use what ever driver you can find. Meanwell is just a crowd favorite around here.

I wanted to purchase more LEDs and waited for the CXBs to come out, it was definitely worth the wait. I would wait for the 2.0's as well

I just purchased everything else and paid for a little faster shipping on the LEDs, I was a little eager to get them up and running. Patience is something I am still working on lol

This is my current space :
Im trying tolook at the best amount of light on a budget whilst staying cool. I have CFLs already, was just looking at other options
I am curious to know the inside dimensions of that box.
I did my 1st grow is something similar but had to upgrade to a bigger box. Even with LST i ran out of space quickly as pot and the light took more height than i planned for.

What other brand drivers are available? I've looked around and can't find anything with the same price range in a branded series. I would be interested not just for price but because Meanwell doesn't cover every COB/current possibility.
