Skipping the curing process

I know that curing makes the buds taste better, but does it make the weed more potent? I was wondering if I could smoke the buds after drying them for about 5 days.

i always end up trying a bit in between try taking your bud down while its still slightly moist then put it in a brown paper bag turn the top over a couple of times so its loosely closed and leave it in there for a few days until its dry, open it every day to move it around and check on it, this brings out the flavour quicker

It improves smell flavor and smokability, it does not affect thc content. But those things can affect how it gets you high

Curing doesn't make your buds more potent, just improves taste and burn.

I can't imagine dealers curing their weed, not where I'm at at least, but that shit usually gets me high....well it did last time I bought froma dealer....but that was ages ago.

But my HomeGrown tastes WAY better afer curing, but gets me high even without.

Sorry that probably didn't help much. Stoners eh.

By the time the herb gets to the dealer it's already been cured. :joint::hump:

(I've never used one --- but i would love to get one/try one)

i heard that if you use a vaporizer you can smoke stuff right off the plant and the chlorophyll doesn't "taste" in the smoke -- is that true?

by using a vaporizer, do you still get the tasty goodness of curing the weed, is i guess what im asking...

No not true, the weeds actually should be dryer than when you smoke it with a lighter

the first 2 hits off a vape taste pretty green, but you can get toasted. my buddy showed me with the one i bought just before i brought it home.

This all depends on the vape. I can trim, chop, and put that in my hot box and after three hits of air, I get a hit. Then I really get a hit . And several more after. Most fan driven vapes do little until it's been there a while. On my hot box's inztuctions it stated to use moist herb or add a drop of distilled water per bowl. If you are planning on using it exclusively, I'd still recommend drying your herb.

If you wanted to smoke asap a water cure be the best for quick smoke Imo. 7 days in the tub then dry and your g2g. That way you've got smoke while doing a proper cure.

how can you say that?? you know every grower who sells to dealers? neither do i, but the couple i do know DO NOT cure thier bud before they sell it. imagine the pain in the ass curing 10 lbs every month. not to mention who the fuck wants to sit on 10 lbs for 2 wks when you can just sell it? i know one fellow who ziplock cures his pounds. he dries then puts it into gallon zippys and opens them once a day for a week before he sells. with few exceptions i imagine most career growers outside the med-pot circles dont cure thier pot.

i think wut ganja was saying is, by the time the pot has reached its destination, it will have been atleast a few days of curing, and it will be opened a few times.

but a lot of pot around here comes a ways away. so it could have a lot more time than a couple days to cure. it will pass through hands, and get opened that way.
