Sleeper Agents?

Question I’ve been asking myself.. probably since joining. Is anyone aware of any like “agencies” so to say that may possibly use this forum to collect info?? Like if you know what I mean?? Like do pigs make accounts and try to fuck peoples shit? I think thats kinda clearly said. My question. Its been clearly stated now.

I don't have any experience with that but in my opinion it would be really easy for law enforcement to do. I don't know exactly how much they can get but if I was ordering seeds on here I'd be scared as shit. The laws are getting better for sure. Ten years ago this was a sketchy site to use. If you're just on here blogging it up I don't see the fuckin' crime. The dudes with the big operations aren't on here talking about their shit anyways. That's all gang shit. I'd bet that 9/10 people on here are so small that we don't appear on their radars.

Who knows. I'm in a legal state, I don't sell anything I just grow a few plants for personal use. I doubt the feds are going to spend tens of thousands of dollars to track me down and raid my house just for a couple plants and a few zips of personal. Now if you're in a state like South Dakota, Arkansas, etc... with draconian state laws I'd be more worried about the local authorities than the feds.

Doubt it. Unless you're talking about illegally selling seeds or clones here, or giving out your exact location, I think we're fine.

There was a user talking about using the Meta in your pictures to find your location. I think if the law wanted you, they'll get you.

It's easy to remove the meta from photo's but they can find you without that anyway. They have more important things to worry about than some stoners growing a few plants. Namely dealing with the meth and heroin getting into the country and the coke and fentanyl being bought and sold online. They could care less if I grow some weed and smoke a few joints.

All information will be filed away in my head. The majority of what you all said has already run through my mind. I appreciate all the good input. And like dude said, if they wanna catch you, theyll catch you. No im not some big time dealer, but non the less I never stop contemplating the risks. Not just of this, of everything. Im a very mentally proactive person. I definitely got the answers I was looking for. Big appreciation.

It would take a federal agency to do it, and they are pretty hands off at the state level. Local law enforcement would have to have a judge reach extra hard for a warrant for a person who might not even actually be in their jurisdiction.

They could, but it would would be super easy to fight in court for a personal grower. Doubt any local judge would risk their career on that many a maybes.

They can't just run IP data on everyone without a federal warrant or a very large reasonable suspicion you live in a particular county. I think your good just don't say your location or be a source of the black market in your area.

Inadmissible in court means lot more to me than what authorities actually know.

The main thing to be aware of here and anywhere is that all those little bits of information you share across 100's
of posts can add up to a surprisingly complete picture of you if someone cares to pay attention.

Talk about what you drive in a car thread, casually mention your siblings somewhere else, comment about a local landmark or a concert that could be narrowed down to a particular time and place, all that can be used to identify you. Your job, your education, your pets, all that information is often casually shared but can be used for shitty purposes and you probably don't realize how casually you share it, not just on weed forums.

No shit. The Dakota's both North and South are living in different times, lol. I got arrested in ND for having a tiny nug and a pipe. When I went before the judge he asked it I wanted a lawyer. I said "Do you think I need one?". He said "you're looking at a year a piece", for possession and possession of paraphernalia. I turned around to my girlfriend and said "get me the fuck out of here". She got me bailed out and I went back to my home state (WA), and had the lawyer they appointed handle it for me since I wasn't going back to that shithole of a state. I wound up just getting fines, but if they wanted me to spend time they were gonna have to come get me, lol. I don't see the Feds giving a shit if you're a small grower, growing for personal use.

Something that is blocked from being able to be used by prosecutors In a case. I'd probably ask for a jury trial and probably walk imagining my lawyer can get at least one pothead juror.

Though I'm just fine with paying a small cultivation fine if I have to., for where i am.

If most members here are from North America, I personally wouldn't be too concerned. Canadians can grow legally without a license, so I don't think that Canadian law enforcement cares about the little guys.

In the US, legalization talks at the federal level might have a similar effect, don't you think? If the Feds are currently discussing legalization, wouldn't authorities start to care less about little weed growers?

This thread has got me paranoid. I was looking out the window through a tiny crack in the curtains last night for hours and I saw a couple suspicious cars go by. There is a van parked down the street that I haven't seen before and I can hear helicopters in the distance. I ripped all my plants up and have been shredding them and was flushing them down the toilet as fast as I could but now the toilets clogged and I don't know what to do. I'm in my bathroom standing knee deep in plants, I can't get rid of them, the feds are going to kick the door down, and I'll be caught red handed. What do I do!
