big things have been happening in the flower room. my two new girls are on day 12 and packin on the pistils. no stretch at all! i swear by bushmaster...worth every penny. my older mama is gettin thick as hell. shes on day 45, im gonna start flush in a week. gonna go with a one week flush and see how it works out.
 
Sup Will! Happy New Year! Are you using anything for the flush. I picked up some clearx and that stuff works pretty damn good.
 
happy new year everybody! what up slick, things are looking very nice on your end. hope all is well with everybody.still waiting on my trichs to turn amber(15wks for the sativa,12wks for the indica)but something strange happened. i had been using two sodium lights, one hps bulb that i got from home depot, and the other was in the fixture when i bought it off of craigs list. well recently i purchased two hortilux bulbs(very good btw). now when i did this all of the pistils had turned, well two days later i started seeing all of these new pistils accompanied with some new flowers. now my question is could the fact that my trichs have not turned yet be directly related to the fact that i was using sub-standard lights. and as far as the new growth; have you ever seen a growth spurt like that so late in flowering, an could that also be contributed to the fact that a new, better light was installed. thanks in advance man, just tired of waiting for these trichs to turned amber. but i will wait because i want it to be some real body bending shit. i dont know though, but hey have you ever had a plant or strain whose trichs just refused to turn amber, if so what was your breaking point, wk#____?
 
your new bulbs are definetly responsible for the new growth, your girls are loving it. i personally dont check my trichs, i just know. really the only shit i measure is my humbolt county products. everything else in my garden gets eyeballed. check out FDD's tutorial on harvesting, he sums it up in the first post...you can just look at em and tell theyre done.
 
BJ - what make you say the clearex is workin good? im curious because i alwasy thought those products were just marketing. plus, arent you growing soil/organic? you need little to no flush depending on how organic you are, at least thats what ive heard.

im harvesting tomorrow morning, ill try to take lots of pics. i cant believe how early i got it to finish this time, bushmaster really is a miracle product. it completely stops stretch and knocks a few weeks off flower time once you get it dialed in right. knocked a full 2wks off this run around. plus the gravity i fed them for three days made my buds SOLID.

Well from what i've read and have been told is that when going fully organic you the leeching solution works wonders because the soil that i use has so many organic nuts in it.. and the solution will remove those. Again this is what i've been told and read. My first four ladies that i chopped didn't get any leeching solution but i've been using it since then and the buds are tasting and smelling way better then the first... But i'm definitly going to be trying out that bushmaster.. so what it makes plants stop growing up and just concetrating on flower growth?
 
ps.. can't wait to see the fucking harvest man... Youre plant is a monster.. i wish i could get mine to do that.. /sigh oh well someday. =)
 
yeah, bushmaster stops all vertical growth and starts flower immediatly. i had 2wk flowers at 9-10 days, my normaly 9 wk strain is finishing @ 7 1/2. im gonna go get to trimming right now.
