I like that. I'm surprised I didn't think of that, considering I used a uv sterilizer on a reef tank I used to have.

Sounds weird to me. I leave my ro water in a blue trash can for weeks sometimes and never noticed any changes in it. I'm stumped.
I was led to believe rubber attracts the biofilm. I'm using rubber airline. It's the only place I notice it. Everything else at least doesn't feel slimey.

thats where i got the idea.
im a man of many talents
fish keeping is one of those as well
also. get a float valve for your ro. set it up on a 10 or 15gal tote so everytime you take water out it will fill to the float valve and stop

I used to have fresh and saltwater running but it was costly. At least the reef tank was, and it was a PITA! Lol

I have my ro filter under a bathroom sink couple rooms over from my growroom. I had thought about the float valve, but I'd have a waterline running across my foyer floor... lol... it would be too obvious, and unfortunately suspicious. Even though I'm legit with the law, there's still people I don't want to know I'm growing. Lol....1st rule of growing.... DON'T TELL ANYBODY. lol :bigjoint:
