My friend is growing an auto.
Its about day 34
She is showing lots of bud site and its being scrog'd

He is worried the buds are gonna stay really small and its not going to amount to much.
So far they have done awesome. great size and look.

the trichomes are long and creamy and there are loads of them.

What do you think?

Will they get fatter and denser?

Many Thanks

Well how much your plant yields will be a direct result of how much and what kind of light you use, of course other things play a roll as well but as long as your feeding/watering her correctly and taking care of her needs then the more light you have (as long as the temps are in control and the plants aren't being burned) the more bud you will get. If you want to get accurate answers to your questions you need to post as much details regarding your grow as possible IE: What lights & wattage are you using, what nutes, what medium, what's your ventilation, humidity etc, the more info you give us the better we can help as we don't have much to go on regarding your setup.

Hi sativa

There are 3x 2700k 23w cfl and 1x 6500k 23w cfl all about 2 inches above the canopy. moved twice daily to keep them close as she grows. and boy is she still growing.

She has been on General Hydroponics flora series, with out the grow part. pretty much to the lucas formula. also been fed grotek MonsterBloom twice. with another 2moro.

seedlings where hatched in a cupboard with my own patented takeaway tray
Propagator, in the water heater cupboard. never fails.

They are living in hydroton in a 1 gal DWC bubbler. inside a server pc case which is 26" tall. The root system is insane

Temps have been running pretty low here so the topside temps have been around 65c. i was worried this would slow them down but they seem to be enjoying it, dunno if it will affect buddage.

I dont know about cfm, i have 2 intake fans at the bottom blowing over the top of the res and 1 exhaust at the top.

and again with humidity i dont know, When left alone to get on with it they really seemed to florish, so we kept with it.

the res is cleaned out once a week, and topping daily with nute solution, and ph'd water when they start to look burnt.

again they seem to love this

Im just a bit concerned that after all this amazing growth and how well she is going, it would be a massive shame for her not to produce so good buddage.

I was thinking of adding another cfl, but it would have to be above the others, so i didnt know if that would be to far away for any really affect.

any other info i can give?

i love this shizzle

Peace n Love folks.

Looking good . iam kinda big on useing the 200 watt filtz flowering bulbs they work good! and the autos i have grown end up with fat buds . careful with the nutes, autos can be touchy.. good luck bro. :-)

I say, don't worry, be happy. Looking fine, but hungry for light. Gotta have a lot of raw energy to run that ATP-ADP cycle to store those nutes. Bring 'em in close and add as many as you can fit without overheating. For a ruderalis any photon is a good photon. She'll take what she can get.

And then she looked at me with those big brown eyes and said... you ain't seen nothin' yet.
