I love Smart pots use 3g also great for Soil and Soiless grows... Just hate picking roots out when cleaning for next grow.Be ready to water and often for sure with a Sativa i have 1 only one month in Flower and drinks a gallon a day. With ideal temps in Flower room so its not all from evaporation.

Outside , i think imo better tripple Size and use very large ones.

FOR SURE on the H2O!! I am watering almost every day, if not every 30 hrs, and i KNOW its not from evap because my room temp isn't high enough yhakno. Who knows next year maybe i'll grab a few big ones for the some out door girls.

Right they are a little more expensive, but as you can see i'm my pictures up there, the air pot is beautiful!!

Airpots kick ass.

Check out this link. Has some pictures of the transplant from 1L to 10L SmartPots. The massive rootballs in the pic took less than 13days to form.

I agree the air pots are the shit.. I myself use the 12 gal and 5 gal. IMO the smaller one's are a waste of money. the nice thing about these pots is you can move the bottom piece of the pot up at different levels.. for example...when i transplant my clones from dixie cups. I use my 5 gallon air pot and raise up the bottom piece so that I only use about 2 gallons of the pot. when transplanting up I just drop the bottom piece down and fill with dirt and not to forget compacting the side walls with soil and use the whole 5 gal pots then from that to my 12 gal and veg till they get about 4 ft then flower. I seen your journal and got one question I see that you are using the clay pellets. are you running a constant top drip feed (hydro) ? Because your title says soil..... I saw your watering unit..looks nice.. I just got one comment on your manifold.Instead of running a straight bar manifold you should make it a circular manifold the reason is when its circular their is equal pressure to each drip feed line this is what I do in my garden I have to water every day and set my timer to 1 minute when lights come on..works great..good luck on your grow
