Smoke a bowl and appraise this tattoo!

There's nothing wrong with tribal style tats... Done well. The least you can do is redesign it slightly to suit your individual self, think about how the scale will affect what it looks like applied to the contours of your skin and redraw the sun so it settles within/tapers nicely with the fishhook shaped part. If you want to avoid 'tramp stampy', don't be the tramp who whimsically says 'I want some form of tattoo and has some generic flash art literally stamped on them. Work with an artist. You ate an individual and this is going to be with you for the rest of your life.

Yeah thats just the BASIC idea... I'm obviously going to switch it up, and I'd get the hook part done before anything in the middle..

If your going to get something it might as well be bad ass and meaningful! I'd honestly forget the stencil sun and basic tribal design until you figure out what you 'want'.

/honest opinion..

No one can judge a tattoo for you, tattoos are expressions of self. If you're getting a tattoo to look cool, you're doing it wrong. Getting a tattoo is supposed to mean something, and the tattoo is supposed to convey that meaning.

well, without the sun inside it looks like a question mark, with it, it kinda looks like sperm.

(though not ugly by any means. (maybe those are your favorite things idk)

Get some artist friends man. Anyone charging more than 50 bucks for that is ripping you off. That wouldn't take more than 30 minutes to complete.

I have a tribal but its my whole left arm. Wrist to armpit. Took over 9 hours.

Seriously, as a Native American, I want to know more about the "tribal" part of the tat. What about "tribal" are you interested in/trying to portray?

I was thinking about getting a tattoo. Just an "M" on each side of my asshole. So, when I do naked cartwheels it says "WOW, MOM".

I have a big ass tribal tattoo on my ribs and side of my body I got for no reason.

I don't know what it means, it just looks cool.

imo, the tribal tats already are starting to look dated. In 10 years it will look very dated. Plus, leo loves tats.
