Snapped Main Cola right in half day 21 preflower

My dumbass was trying to train my plant its about 21 days old and I fucked it.
Shes an autoflower and was growing super well and healthy. I obviously didnt realize how thick and non mailable the stems got and snapped the thing right off.
I taped it with some scotch tape on and its on there but What should I do? Just take it off and let the other colas grow or ill it recover and grow again..
First time grow and made a terrible mistake. Shes had some pistils coming through too so i think shes right in the preflower phase.
Please let me know what I should do. pissed off at myself..,. FUCKKKKK

Snapped the thing right in half and it was pretty low. Had some fan leaves and eveything attatched. One of the fan leaves already looks like hes going out and its only been 20 minutes or so I tried to make little splint but shes so bushy its hard. Also the stems dont seem to be touching. Should I just get rid of it?

Looks like you've done about all you can do. Make sure the broken parts are making contact with each other and use some thick gauge wire to support the plant from tipping over. That tape probably isn't the best thing to use but it'll work in a pinch. Plant more seeds just in case.

Give it a couple days. If it wilts badly, chop it.

Cannabis is tough. I had a 7 footer split down the middle a couple weeks ago in a bad storm. A little bit of first aid with duct tape and she never skipped a beat.
So it really depends on the amount of damage the vascular system sustained.
Normally, I'd say grab some clones but you said this is an auto so maybe start some some seeds just in case.

when you say chop it do you mean the whole plant or just the part that was snapped?

Use plumber ore electrical tape. It will give an airtight seal and expand as the plant grows. Also yoyos are great for a broken stem.

If you can salvage it, just take off the top that snapped and let the bottom leads grow out. Its an auto so you're short on recovery time and you're gonna lose a lot that plants mass.
Right now, all you can do is wait and see

Just looked at it again and ALL the leaves that were attached to the cola that snapped off are already wilted Should i just remove it so the plant can focus its energy on the other branches?

The plant is stressed right now and will use energy to heal the wound whether you cut it or not.
For the bottom leads to grow, auxins need to shift from the meristem to the lateral branches.

I'd still wait 24 hours if it were me, but you can observe that plant better than we can just from pics.

I went to re-tape it with electrical tape and ithe whole thing was wilted defied just to keep it off and focus on the bottom leads. I don’t needy anything crazy for yields just need to learn how to grow.
Probably going to plant another one and get her going but pretty traumatic experience to say the least lol

She seems to be fine after the snapping the main cola on the autoflower. Been really working on the canopy with LST but thats about it. Right now feeding it with the fox farms trio and some cal mag.
Feeding pretty light today around 1400 EC but usually 1000-1200 per watering which is every 2 days so far till runoff.
Sooooo many bud sites but main cola still never healed and exposed with that little Hole. If it looks likes it needs anything lmk!

It happens, imo your best bet is to start over if you’ve got the seeds for it. Hate to put all that time just to harvest a small jar, we’ve all broken plants before. It sucks, it’s easier to recover with photos than autos but shit happens, things fall.

Right on. When I started gardening I believed the fable that nature is "fragile". Now I know better. Yesterday I took some flowering plants outside for water and maintenance, much easier. Well when I wasn't looking my yard donkey got him a good bite out of one. He then knocked it on the ground going for some more.That joker landed bottom up and plant smashed. I flipped it over, put a stake in the pot and taped her up. Today she's reaching for the light. A few years ago I would've freaked out. Nature is strong and yard donkeys dig flower, lessons learned. I'd just let it keep taking care of itself. Doing great.

Day 54 traveled for thanksgiving. Had plant on automated watering system with some device off of amazon usually water every 2 days until runoff but had it watering once everyday for 5 minutes which was equivalent to a little more than half a gallon at 1500 EC and 6.05 pH. Noticed tips had started to yellow when I got back. There was just a little bit of runoff and I measured 4000 EC and 6.04 pH. Flushed it with Phd RO water Until runoff was 1000 EC. Going to start feeding again when it needs water. My thoughts were nute toxicity with the build up. Brought lights a little closer before I left but I think its like 25" away.
Starting to smell a little too which is nice

Tips are burned a little from too much nutes. I'd dial your EC back a little- Definitely strain dependent, but I usually target EC of about .9 to 1.0... They look pretty dark, so likely too much N as well. Are you still using Big Grow?

Nope I am not using Grow Big anymore from the fox farms trio just Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom with CalMag PHd.
They were doing fine with 1400-1500 watering every 2 days but my thought is since it wasnt able to water till full runoff like usual the nutes built up hence the 4000 EC rating. Shes always been a pretty dark plant not sure how I should go about that though.
