Snapped Stalk, HELP!

Okay so I just got this from my buddy, it was an outside plant. I don't know when this snapped but it looks like it happened before I got it, and I don't know what I should do about it

Edit: The buds also look very fluffy, and the stalk is very thin and weak. I put it on a stick for support and have a fan blowing of course. Any tips on what I should do would be grateful!

People break stems and stalks all the time(super cropping) and the best solution i have found is to take a lil duct tape and wrap around once.
Air is not good inside your stalk or stems and it would be easy for a bug to just go in and live(i.e caterpillar)and start making holes and youngins.

Yeah, it's a little more worse than a supercrop though lol. If you can tell in the picture (shitty picture) around the snap its turning yellowish/brown. But thanks for the advice, I just got it taped not to long ago

Oh trust me i seen worst in the attempts of super cropping, the plant in my avatar was almost the same way until i taped her and 2-3 days later she healed but brown
and swollen in that spot but lived. As long as it's not hanging from a thread it will heal.

That's definitely reassuring, her leaves are very droopy tonight. Hope she'll feel better in a few days after she gets out of shock from transplanting her.

tape and tooth picks
That's definitely a good idea, i'll have to put one in the tape to keep it a little more straight.
