So my sneaky cat bit a leaf

While I was preoccupied playing bio shock infinite:eyesmoke: my cat decided to bite one leaf on my plant:cuss:. There is two holes and one tare. So my question is, can my plant be using valuable energy to heal? should I just snip the leaf?
Any help is great.:peace:

Its fine, and will likly heal in a day, u could snip it and get rid of some undergrowth while ur at it, and make the plant focus more on the tops
edit: sorry on the phone didnt really see the plant, actually looks kinda stretched, how far ur lights ?

Agreed. You will not even notice that the plant has been stressed. Especially the fact that the plant is still in veg, don't worry about it.

I would not snip it off, given that it will heal. I do agree that you might as well get some minor pruning done on the lower branches that won't ever receive much light.

Not necessarily this situation, but I always encourage people to folilar-feed their plants with a seaweed extract, or any kind of spray that is light on food but full of amino acids. I like the SEA GREEN by Beneficial Biologics, the Seaweed Extract from Grow More, or even the PURE PROTEIN DRY (fish hydrolysate) HIGHLY Recommended to do a spray down after any stress (especially the transplant stress)!!

I made a deal with the cat , eat any leaves in bloom but leave the young ones alone . You got lucky as the damage was minimal . In my years of growing I have seen far worse damage from cats . Sometimes they will stump your plant and puke it up later lol .

I know I'm lucky. I never even seen her near it, I heard her in that area but didn't think anything of it:shock: lol
