Hi Guys,

Just about In week 5 of flower and i think i might have come across a little problem but i have my fingers crossed...... what do you all think?

Growing in coco pro plus - auto's 8-10 weeks flower, 3ml canna a&b and 3ml of big bud (switching this week over to overdrive never used it before, has anyone used it before?) Feeding roughly 3 - 4 times a week and she is drinking about 3 pints with 10% left in don't to sure about PPM (never used it before but will on my next grow) PH is 5.8.

lighting - 18/6 and have 2x600w full spectrum LED lights. Temp 26 lights off and 28 lights on humidity is between 40 and 60%.

I have 3 new ones on the go will this impact on them at this early stage? (2 x auto's and one photoperiod which have a little yellow leaves - they are on still spring water i have not over/under fed them) all my seeds have been "feminized purchased from ice headshop seedbank".

so far i have had one full on male which i caught really early. This was my first auto grow and after i used up the auto's it will be back to photoperiod i think. Also first time "lollipoping" have i done it right? also used a little wire to open her up a little more.

cheers guys!!

I don't see any boy parts...new growth & bracts.
Keep an eye on it, but you'll be able to tell for sure days before the flowers would open.
You've gone a bit past lolloping, more like a medium-hard pruning.
All looks good
Have fun
Thanks Hugo hope you are doing well, how is the weather and your girls doing?

I thought i could see a couple of pollen sacs and cautious after loosing one. I am following the time table for the strain and says it is a 8 weeker but i think she needs a little more growing with big bud maybe another week then over to overdrive for 2 weeks and final flush for 2 weeks? what do you think?
I need to work on my "lollipoping" skills have you got any advice or a link that you recommend?

Cheers Hugo!!

Looks sort of like a little pollen satchel but with turning up the fan or trying some things like watering with different non tap water or changing ph. With some baking soda or vinegar, you can even use hydrogen peroxide mixed with water it helps roots or make a spray with it. That might fix your problem and form bud out of it around it instead before it even could turn into a seed.

you can do different things to get the best result if you like, I do. How should I reply?

You can reply however you would like. I just didn't understand at all what you were getting at on that reply or how it applied to the OP's question.

It's not herming. No worries. Autos tend to have swollen calyx/pods that look like they're holding seeds.. but it's normal. You may find little pebble like seeds in there at chop time.. I mean tiny tho.. but they'll never grow into full formed seeds.

Here's a pic from about 2 years ago where I was thinking the same thing. I ended up yanking one of the pods off, and there was nothing inside.
At harvest time.. it felt like a couple of tiny seeds were in another pod I broke open. They were just a tad bigger than a grain of salt. IMG_6848.JPG

I said it seemed like probably not a hermie but just in case there’s a few things to switch up if you want that will add to the garden. Usually if I noticed an imperfection I change something or try a new idea, I’m new also.

Just my approach if I see one of those little half formed seeds but maybe I’m over analyzing

Girls are doing pretty good thank you, but no sun since 2 Sundays ago and a shitload of rain.

Keep on doing what you're doing, they look good but not near ready.
I don't use overdrive & only flush when I have to, so I can't help there.

This is what I call lollipopping(taking off the bottom 25%), you just took it further up the plant (pruning). :D

Wow!! she's beautiful!!! thank you for showing me, did she give you much loving back?
i suppose that growing indoors has it perks but i would much rather outdoors in the natural light and surroundings.
Thanks again Hugo take it easy mate!

It’s very common to see those growths on autos, and I’ve also seen it on revegged plants as well. Definitely nothing to fret over. They will be just fine.

Got fuck all from them(apx 2.5oz of bubble hash) , cold, wet, windy autumn caused a lot of bud rot & powdery mildew.
Because of that, his year is my first go with auto's, hopefully will be done beginning of Sept.
Oh ya, sunlight beats artificial light hands down
