This is my Nutrient and PPM Calculator (work in progress)
The goal of this tool is to give the cultivator a full control
In every aspect of the feeding program and schedule

I have been contemplating making a commercial release
Need some comments / feedback

I've had a calculator exactly like this for over 3 years. So I'd hate to say it, but it kinda seems like a rip off of the original, you just added color. Which then wouldn't really make it your calculator. Lol ;) givin you a hard time.

I particularly like the inclusion of a hard water modifier. You may have the following suguestions incorporated (can't tell from the images); if you do, then great.

- Have datasets for some of the producers other than GH. You may even be able to charge a bit for each dataset; it will broaden your audience

- Since desireable levels are often in ranges, color code the recipe analysis to highlight nutrients that are hot, borderline hot, deficient and boarderline deficient

- I think you are able to work from fixed dosages to find nutrient levels AND from fixed nutrient level to find dosages; if so that's great, if not add that capacity

- Allow for notes on the crop feeding menu (ie. the gardener can enter if plants are showing burn, defs, etc.) so corrections can be made on the next grow

- If the mix runs hot, indicate if the condition could be remedied by using RO water

It looks like some nice work!

both "Source Water analysis PPM" and "Adjustment PPM" column (currently filled with 0) are manually editable!

GH, GHE, General Organics and Advanced Nurients are currently included in the DB i intend to cover every major manufactures product line
- Since desireable levels are often in ranges, color code the recipe analysis to highlight nutrients that are hot, borderline hot, deficient and boarderline deficient
not sure i understand
- I think you are able to work from fixed dosages to find nutrient levels AND from fixed nutrient level to find dosages; if so that's great, if not add that capacity
you can do that by adjusting the dosage of your recipe until you reach your desired level
- Allow for notes on the crop feeding menu (ie. the gardener can enter if plants are showing burn, defs, etc.) so corrections can be made on the next grow
Exist! (not showing)
- If the mix runs hot, indicate if the condition could be remedied by using RO water
not sute i understand what you mean by hot
It looks like some nice work!

I have a couple of clarifications for the items that were confusing."- Since desireable levels are often in ranges, color code the recipe analysis to highlight nutrients that are hot, borderline hot, deficient and boarderline deficient"What I mean is that after entering the desired mix, in the event that PPM is too high for any nutrient, that nutrient would be highlighted in some way to make it obvious that there is potentially user error in the mix. A similar warning could highlight those nutrients that are considerably to low."- If the mix runs hot, indicate if the condition could be remedied by using RO water"Given the same scenario above. If the PPM is too high, but the condition could be remedied by using RO water, indicate that for the user. What are your thoughts about price point? Thanks!

i think i understand what you're saying
for that if understand you correctly; a baseline needs to be established
the calculator allows you to visually see and adjust the NPK and other trace element levels to your desired ratio.

as you build your weekly recipe on the "crop feeding menu"; with the dosing your planing on giving each week;
the elements listed in the "Profile" table will adjust as you adjust your weekly recipe
this allows for total NPK ratio control,
no more Hot or Cold making a recipe blindly,
now you can visually see and adjust your recipe
you crunch the numbers on the weekly feed program (across the "crop feeding menu")
adding the ingredients you choose to combine in your weekly recipe
then adjust quantities to get the exact PPM level and exact NPK ratio you want to feed with,

you can profile ad adjust each week's program individually
by selecting the week you want to profile from the "Week Profile Menu"
that will reload the data displayed in the "Profile" table with the newly loaded week

Nice work man :D

Great work, I noticed you have a cost calculator. Is the displayed cost of the nutes for just that week? Is one able to adjust the cost parameters if say I buy in bulk?

at the bottom of the week feed table as well as on the coasts table (on the right of weekly feed table)
you will find the total coast per ingredient, per batch, and the whole run total coasts with all ingredients,

yes you can adjust each item cost individually!
on the guaranteed analysis tab; each product loaded lists coast per mL,
which you can edit in case your price is diffrent then listed with a preset item

Old thread but in case anyone's still interested, check out my nutrient, npk & ppm calculator in Google Sheets. Input in green cells, everything else will be calculated. No login required.

PS. Careful with the ppms. These are theoretically correct for all mentioned nutrients, but in reality ppm tends to be higher. Probably due to ingredients that aren't labeled...

PPS. More products to be added to the list (:
