My friend has 3 plants in veg.His room is 27'' wide x 24''deep=4.6sqft.also its about5.5ft tall. Each one in 5gal bucket.I no for best results in soil(not doing sog)you need about 2sqft/plant.Also lights are 2-70watt hps's with 3-27wt cfl's.Now do you think he should try to flower all three or just two?The biggest plantcould fill the whole room doing a scog.with only 140watts of hps i think he would get more from that one plant with a sreen, than trying to do all three, please tell me what you think, sorry no pics.two plants are about 22'' tall the bgum(the one i think he should scog is about 30'' tall. Thanks in advance for all input.

Yes a know hes got to flower soon.My question is how many should he flower all three?I thought you would get a better yield with more space.Isnt three plants to many for a 4.6 sqft room?

You should read carefully because instead of being a smart ass if you would open your eyes you would see that help was already typed out in plain English with my last post..

Yield wont mean shit if you run outta height! You also state that you know you need two square feet of space per plant so there's 4.6sq divided by three and you get your question answered for yourself!

yes start flowering them all now as the plants will double to triple in height when flowering is induced.
I believe you asked how many plants should you put in there, correct!
The statement I wrote says "all"! You said your friend has 3 plants all would equal 3. Now I am being a smart ass! You answered your own question right from the get go. You know you have 4.6 sq you know that a plant to get the max amount of light and yield from a plant it should have 2 sq so since you know this you should be able to answer this question in the first place yourself. Now if you would of said is it possible to put all three of these plants in 4.6 square then you would be looking for advise but you are asking a question that you already know and are wasting people's time by posting something that you could do yourself.

Im sorry you think im wasting peoples time. You will notice i said my friend.Nobody wants to give up plants, hes new to growing so if i said you will get a better yield just flowering two, without other people to back me up im sure he will do all three and get less yield and vary possible mold. Now do you understand its not for my knowlege its for his.If you think im wasting your time dont post, very simple.
