Soil Mix Questions

Hi I'm going to be growing all autoflowers in my next indoor grow. I have 2 different soils left over. one is Lightmix from Biobizz and the other is Royalmix from Plagron. My question is what ratio should I mix them in so I don't burn my auto plants. bellow is a photo of royalmix specs.

Maybe don't mix them at all.
Make a thin cardboard or paper tube and fill it with the lighter mix to sink roots in, and let the roots seek out the fertilized mix in the outer layer.
The cardboard just has to go down a bit to protect the young roots from excessive nutrients/runoff, not all the way to the bottom.
Just water lightly inside the cardboard ring so the nutrients from the loaded soil don't run in.

I thought about that but I need to use both of the soils since I currently can't order any more because of covid19 and I need enough soil for 5 autos in 15L airpots. so what would be the best ratio to use that won't burn my plants.

Just reserve some of the lighter mix for the seedling root ball, mix the rest for planters.
Since we don't know how much of each you have, use your best judgement. Sounds like not much of either, so make do.

Must be empty planters around town to pillage, bake and re use, if you get desperate.

I have about 50L of each soil so I was thinking mix them about 50/50 so I dilute the the "hot" royalmix soil with lightmix and then put more lightmix in the middle around where I plan on putting in the seeds

Are you sure you can’t get soil locally? Even with the business shutdowns, most countries and states consider garden centers essential so people can still grow their own food during all this mess.

there's a movement ban in my country which means I'm pretty much confined to my village and the penalty is 500€ so I'd rather not risk it. I could order soil online but almost all the growshops in my country are either colsed or out of stock. luckily I have my seeds from last year and some nutrients left over so I should be fine.

Yeah, I’d stay home too! We aren’t locked down that hard in the US, but I try to stay in my house as much as possible. I’ve only left my house twice in the last two weeks. Ordering soil online can get pricey, too, because it gets expensive to ship it.

ordering nutes is even harder I've been growing organic for the last 2 years and it seems not a single company in EU is making dry amendment nutrients I have to ship all of them from US/Australia and the shipping prices are just ridiculous. but I think its worth it in the end. btw do you know of any organic bloom boosters that contain triacantanol besides green planets massive bloom

I wonder if you could buy the individual ingredients, locally, and just make your own dry amendments? I know a lot of growers do that to cut costs.

yea I can get my hands on some worm castings, bat guano and compost but thats about it. no other ingredients used to make super soil are locally available at my location which is a shame because I really enjoy growing with organics
