Soil Mixture

Ok, so I have read the threads and I am out in the hemisphere. I will be growing 9 plants in 20 gallon containers in greenhouse and in garden. I had planned on just using Fox Farm Ocean, then I started thinking big trouble. Why could I not use a 50/50 mix of Fox Farm and MG soil. I would appreciated any opinion, be nice I'm fragile

check out sunshine advanced #4. about $35 for a 3.8cy.ft. bag. fills about 80 gallons of pots. mix in a little worm castings and you've got a great soil mix in my opinion. i like soiless mixes cause they have no nutes in them. lets you control your plants and nutrients more. with soils like fox farms you play a guessing game cause they have nutes in them already. you spend the first month trying to figure out if your plant needs nutes or not.
