soil question

Ok looking at soil and fox farm is high.. is there a good brand of miricle grow within fert pellets? Or is frog really worth the price? Got n genetics going on so I'd like good soil. Using foxfarm trio for fert.

If you want to get something reasonably priced I'd recommend promix. At least you know what you are feeding your plant. Your local nursery is another good place to look for cheaper soil alternatives with out using mg. Most of the "industry" soils are all priced pretty closely in my area at least.

Never ever use miracle grow, unless of course you want cancer and brain damage :)
Dude don't be an idiot.

ProMix is sterile. It's just peat/perlite. No fertilizer in it. It makes a nice base because you don't have to worry about how much of each to add. I use it as a base sometimes although if I buy my own perlite and a bale of peat moss it's actually cheaper.

MG Organic Choice is great. You can use it from start to finish. It has no time release fertilizer in it and so it's safe for MJ use. As you know any mix with slow release ferts is to be avoided whether it's an MG brand or not.

I'd just bite the bullet and get the best, ffof. The other great soils like happy frog and light warrior are so high priced, you may as well get the ffof. $20 shipped to your door isnt going to break the bank is it? Or you could take your chances with Miracle grow and save what 5-10 bucks?
