Soil vs coco vs mixed

Hey everyone, had my first grow in soil with absolute success, tastes and high was awsome, yield a little lower than I would have liked but putting that down to spacing issue, learning experience with setup with it being the first time. Now I have heard good things about coco but I fear it may screw with the taste of the bud like hydro can. Ive heard a 50/50 mix can get rid of this issue.........is slightly better yields the only Pro here as I am a believer in, if it works.....dont fix it, just wanted to know if people find there are any other major benefits or flaws to using coco/ coco mixed ?

Thanks for the input buddy. I've been massively interested in the whole organics, and super soil etc. The things putting me off this method are, I work 12 hour shifts, I dont have a viable place to 'cook' the soil and Im too busy to have it held elsewhere (not driving atm), not to mention I really don't trust myself enough for the time as Im concerned the girls get into flower or something and I havnt prepped the soil or mixes right lol

Yeah I really aint got no room, as in even a walk in cupboard, my brother is moving out ( he moved in mine when he split with his ex ) but I wanted to use his room as a nursery. Not sure if we get that stuff in England and not sure on a suitable alternative bud.
