soil without nutrients, add ferts right away?

I bought a soil that has no natural NPK in it. I know with most potting soils, you're supposed to wait 2-3 weeks before adding ferts. Can I add the 18-18-20 ferts I have to the soil the first time I water it?

It would be virtually impossible to make soil with no NPK are you absolutely sure this is true or does it just not mention an NPK level on the bag. Either way I would suggest against nuting with such strong nutes so early, there is very little nutrients needed early one and you don't want to burn them up before they even get a chance.

Ok, well it definately has NPK don't worry about it just wait on the nutes, you don't want to rush things. Early on less is more.
