SOLO CUP CHALLENGE

The Iowa Bubble Gum that I started on 07/07/2020 finally started showing preflower the day before yesterday, so lollipoped her to get her ready for the flowering show. She is in a 12oz cup and has been under 12/12 from day one, she is in a peat moss / perlite mix, and is just being fed 1tsp bat guano / 1 tsp sea bass meal per gallon of distilled water. She gets a 1/4 cup of that mix every 24 hours, and whatever runs through the cup simply dries out in the tupperware container I have the plants 12oz cup in!

The other one (can't remember which strain, no biggie) has some brown spots on the odd leaf. Not sure what they are though, I have been too busy to search yet.

This really looks like so much fun but then I do that stupid thing of thinking it through and being put off by the thought of potentially having to water 3x a day. One day I won't get to thinking and just do it^^.

I'll switch to solo cups like THIS guy switched to running. Give him 20 seconds man, what a champ :D:D

I have a sort of hempy cup. It has a hole about 1/3 the way up so when I feed the bottom gives it something to drink all say. If I were inclined to do one where you only want to feed once a day I would go half way up instead of a third. It also depends on how big you want the plant to get. The one that I am almost finished I do feed two to three time a day but I just like to have it filled so it is more like a hydro. This one has more bud on it than a gallon pot I have going right beside it.

My petite princess has road tripped with me twice now because I'm gone 2-3 days at a time. She's got about 12 hours of windshield sunshine, and has "slept" in 3 counties so far and she'll get another 9 hours this weekend and another place to rest her buds. If I do another solo, she'll be on a dripper.

No, I'm talking about driving in slow city traffic and people in cars and on the sidewalk seeing my SOLO on the dash of my truck basking in the sun through the windshield, then realizing what it actually is and then pointing, giving big smiles, thumb ups and yelling positivity. Genuine excitement. It was great.
But non-growers have commented on her size and one gardener told me yesterday I was gonna kill it because it would get root bound - I used to think the same.

You must be in a legal state, we growers still live like the unabomber in prohibition states. This is a cool story just the same as I’m happy to hear of the favorability from folks on the street.

i want in the next one and im down to contribute to a prize.....
(it was my own fault.... i started at a bad time....the mites had nowhere to go but her. poor girl.)

i had a feeling at the beginning that buddy would prolly come down with the most. (i was gonna give ya a run) looks like about an oz to me. great job bud!
