Some Drooping in my Hydro System that I have not seen before and Foam

So when I look at a bottle of clorox bleach it says 7.5% sodium hypochlorite. If I use that in the calculator with 3PPM and 24 Gallons of water it says 3.8ml per 24 gallons. So I am good to just use regular clorox bleach and add 3.8ml every time I do a rez change and just add to every topoff at the same 3ppm rate?

I wondered if I was running a high Cost per. What should it be? Grams/Watt on my last grow if I only count trimmed cured buds (like I did in my Cost per) I am at 0.56. I say if I only count trimmed cured buds is because on my last grow I had tons of larfy lower buds. I means tons. I kept all of it to the side to make dry ice hash. I ended up with 18z of good trimmed cured bud. 10z of larfy cured bud. 6z of sugar leaf trim. I think I had so much larfy bud because I didnt lollipop them as well as I should have and then had to harvest 2 weeks early because of vacation timing. The grow got out of my control and it really turned into a jungle in there!

Yeah that’s low. G per watt. Should be at least 1. When I switched to led from HPS it shot up. Training into a screen so every available square inch has something is the key. Knowing when to flip the light sure helps as stretch can really get out of control.

The last grow I just LSTd and Topped a bunch. and then mild lollipopping. I skipped the SCROG as in my first grow I built a huge screen that sat about 8 inches above my buckets. I trained the plants their entire life into the screen but then when I had an attack of root rot, I realized I couldnt lift my plants to check roots because of the screen. I had to cut it apart around the plants and it was a nightmare. Made me get a bad feeling for scrog screens after that at least when running hydro. but the whole reason my grow got out of hand as shown above was because I had NO SCREEN! or any type of structural support and everything just fell towards the floor as it put on weight. really sucked. this time I am going to put up some mesh material during the stretch to even out the canopy a bit but really just to make sure I have support for the buds. I think if I can make it to full maturity and I provide support to keep branches close to light I will improve on my Grams/Watt this run.

The girls are 30 days old today from Germ. so I am using the week 3 feed schedule and I just moved them from my seedling box to their permanent home on Sunday the 22nd of August. Unlike prior grows, I am getting a red/brown sediment that is building up on my rez and in all the grow bins as well as white Foam on top of the water in the grow bins. I thoroughly cleaned my system before use and have changed the system and flushed it now 3 times this week and each time the sediment and foam returns. On top of this the plants look a little droopy and the leaves are curling. I am using GH Flora Series nutes. (Micro, Gro, Bloom, CalMg, UC Roots)

Each system uses about 24 Gallons of water and each system received the following feeding.

Micro - 240ml (10ml/G) Gro - 240ml (10ml/G) Bloom - 120ml (5ml/G) CalMg - 75ml (~3ml/G) UC Roots(H2O2) - 75ml (~3ml/G)

This is double what I was doing in my last two grows. It seems like the sediment is the color of the micro nute but I have no clue what is going on and am hoping for some guidance. Thanks! Am I just over feeding? Could that cause the foam and the sediment? The sediment is hard to see in the image but it is there!! in the image you can see the red/brown sediment coating the inlet to my recirc pump. that whole piece should be white.

The foam is bright white but drys brown. roots are still nice and white.

Drop all the nutes except flora micro(8ml) and flora bloom (16ml). You won't need to add flora bloom and extra calmag. Uc roots is your choice but bleach works better.

When I did hydro all I did was lust lift a corner of the lid for a quick peek hell sometimes I wouldn't even look as there all scrogged in.Id try to grow about 18" before I topped then trim everything below that,this made it easier in mid flower to get to the lids.

My plan is to add a new mount for next grow so that I can move the SP3000 in the middle to veg both sides 9f the room. In the meantime. Could this over light problem be causing the droopy leaves? If I raise the lights way above the plants will that help? Right now I am at about 36 inches above the plants for both lights.

I also lowered the power on my LED to 75% and my HPS balast to 400W

I previously had my LED at 100% and balast at SuperLumen setting

Ok I see now,your plants cant be moved together and the sp light is long and narrow so it can only light one side.
I just got some used sp 250 lights,seam to be ok.Running at 20" now, I just flipped the light.
