Hi guys I had a girl in the garden just for fun. It's a mystery plant from a friend. I have been checking lately and noticed today it's not only got tits but now some nuts too:o I would let it go but I'm worried about my indoor grow.... I guess I should kill it? if it has JUST started to flower and there are some white pistles is it worth while to dry it and make oil or wait for some seeds? Any and all help would be nice. Will is surive a transplat far far away this time of year?

Thanks again guys for the help.

the seeds would be questionable, since they would have the herm genetics. If you tear it down, I would give it a little more time and try to get it just before the sacs are going to open. If you just saw the first sacs you should have another week or so

if youre worried about pollinating your indoor plant I would think this would only result from bringing some pollen in on your hands or clothes

no ... males and hermies can polinate other females if they are around them u dont even have to touch em

yea.... But they aren't around them.... The herm is outside.... The females are inside and probably in their own closed off room

are you sure you didn't have another hermit, they can be hard to spot when it gets late in the game. I guess I dont understand how pollen could travel a football field length and then make it inside and into the growbox.

i used to pick the nuts off before they opened up... a bit intricate and time consuming, but after i removed all the nuts they stopped coming back.

Man I'm torn on what to do... my tent is in the basement with closed windows and the door is closed to the room the tent is in. I only go in the room to see the plants every 24-48 hours and it has a passive exhaust. the plant is 100 feet from my house. I will give it an other 4-5day with close monitoring with out touching it and will shower before I go downstairs. Any more help would be nice

It's more likely he carried the pollen in on his clothes, hands, or body.

Pollen is really heavy here in the spring, and for weeks everything outside is covered with a film of bright yellow pollen. Inside, though... no pollen.

Just sayin.

Really? I heard they come back with venegence when you do that. I'm just worried about touching them and then entering my house.

I picked balls off my last one and they did not come back. However there were way too many to get them all.

reason im asking this is because my male i used was doing the same thing fem and male flowers but i only waited long enough soi ccould spread some pollen the femal part stoped growing. i dont think ive ever heard of an out door hermie

hermit genes will produce hermies no matter where u grow. It won't necessarily guarantee a herm but the chances are decent. Feminized seeds are made with a female pollinated by a hermie that wasn't a genetic herm, it was stressed into herm

hrems are great for a small scale breeder. harvest some of the pollen from it put it in a film canister with silica beeds(those little packs found in shooe boxes) and pollinate a lower bud 3-4 weeks into flower. presto fem seeds that combine genetics from both parents. while some here will say herms make hermi seeds and thats true not all of the seeds will be prone to herming.

in most cases it takes stress to bring out hermi traits
