Someone must be growing in OC besides me

My wife and I went to a hydro store in Orange County to look for an inline fan and carbon filter. I was surprised that this place had a good selection of gear but mostly out of our price range. It really looked like the store must have some big producers as customers.

I have been reading nothing but bad news about the cannabis industry in California lately, so I’m a bit surprised that this place is operating in the middle of a county that doesn’t like cannabis much at all.

If anyone growing in OC wants to collaborate on exchanging seeds, pollen or clones, send me a message. We have accidentally produced a bunch of seeds that we don’t have the room to grow out and I would hate for all that good DNA to go to waste.

kinda sad i seen this thread a year after post lol, i grow for myself in the area, also laugh when i went to a few hydro stores around the area, the prices make me wanna do everything diy, luckly i have good neighbors so im able to flower outside, however i try to keep it to a few plants in flower at a time.

I have been to a hydro store near my home that made me think that people must be growing in Anaheim but like you said, the prices are so high I assume they must be growing commercially in a warehouse somewhere. I’m just “farming” in 30 square feet of apartment space. I grew outside in Downey for a couple years and before that I was in Salinas with plants in a closet.
