so i have some autoflowering plants going this cycle to test them and see how they are and i have found my biggest problem is getting light to penetrate to the buds lower because the main cola is rotund and block alot of the light....we'll i have looked at the main cola and cliped some off to see the trichomes and they are about 50 50 amber and milky with a few clear thrown in there but the lower buds still have all white hairs and mostly clear trichomes.....So what im wondering is if i can chop the cola off and proceed to dry it whilst the rest of the plant finishes in a week or so

tell me if this is stupid
criticism welcomed :peace:

i have actually heard that this does work as long as you dont take too much off the plant i believe it will keep growing

Do it. The worst that could happen is you realize in a couple days it didn't work and you have to harvest the rest.

i went ahead and did it and im actually pretty happy i did. the lower part of the plant seems to like the extra light and i got a fat nug a little early =) so it all worked out
