I'm assuming the 430 watt Son agro bulb will 'pull' the extra 30 watts through the transformer...so the ballast may run a bit hotter. Maybe better cooling for the ballast(400w) for this lamp.
I have this lamp...it's nice. You can see the significant blue shimmer when it's on. Still lots of red tho..
