Sour Diesel

Is anyone growing Sour D? I got one girl going and I have questions. Is she supposed to be so skinny? Is putting a fan directly on her a bad thing? Here she is. Shes a little droopy cause she was thirsty. Fixed that but now two of her leaves are starting to curl. They are not dry or discolored. The sides of the leaf are curling in towards each other.

Are these the plants you have under the 1000w HPS ? Looks to me like they are stretching/starving for light. How far is the light above the plants ?

How can that be ?!!! I have a 1000 watt HPS 18 inches above these TWO plants!!! Room temp. is 78, ph is good. Am I not watering enough? Fed it its first round of nutrients yesterday. There is nutrients in the soil maybe I over did it?

i run the original ecsd cut and have found she has a 3/1 - 4/1 strech and has very flimsy branches that need to be staked. no matter how close i put the light she just keeps streching. she can also take heavy feedings, loves them actually, and she also loves her cal/mag (u running any?). from what i see, she looks pretty healthy other than being a little thirsty.

try switching to a good 2/3 part fertilizer and some micro nutes. their are tons of different brands, and most give u a detailed schedule for feeding depnding on age, light cycle, ect. also, what type of soil are you useing? i stay away from the cheaper home store stuff. go with something they have at your local grow shop, fox farms, bio bizz, promix, ect. some of the better soils are extremely rich in nutrients, so be careful. i use a 3 part mix; promix (1/2 bale), part ffof (1/2 bag) and, perlite (1/2 small bag). i then water the mix with fox farms big bloom (worm casting fert) and maxicrop at 1/2 strenght. i always have very happy plants with this method, and the dees loves it.

you should just switch over to a simple hydroponics setup if you do diesel again.. not as expensive as you think, all you have to do is change the nutrients once a week, and she does the rest. no worrying about under or over watering. and sometimes the leaves do that when it's young even it's healthy. my diesels im doing right now did that and they were super healthy.

Dude, is that regular dirt, like backyard dirt? If so, that's not good to grow with indoors. Also, you've got the one buried too deeply, the soil level shouldn't be up to your first branches. Get some good quality soil-less mix, and some decent nutrients before you go much further. You're asking for headaches.

009.jpgHere she is now. A beast even lst'd! Mr.Headie was right she streches no matter what and her limbs can hardly support the bud. but I know the high will be AWESOME!!! Should be ready by the end of March i'm hoping............... as for soil roots is what I used and Foxfarm for nutes.
