Thanks for sharing all.

That bush looks very healthy and happy Namless, great work.

It looks like it had both a good Veg and controlled height. Was your
pheno a stretcher at all? Mine kinda exploded. :0)

Thanks! She had a bit of that kushy stretch but not too bad. But I also have to mention that I take all measures possible to keep my plants from stretching and to have as many nodes as possible...

They go from seed directly into their final pot. This keeps stretching down because they never really get root bound.

I use HPS from seed till harvest as well. HPS takes slightly slower to veg I have heard, but I get WAY more nodes and way less stretch vegging with HPS.

I top/FIM them once or twice, and then LST pretty heavily.

Wow, colorful! Looks fucking great man, good job with that. Thanks for posting those up.

This is Sour Kosher, right?
Yea that's the Sour Kosher. Did not expect all the color! I have got Blueberry and The Purps also going right now, and they aren't hardly purple at all. They've got a bit of color but nothing like that Sour Kosher.. She def has the pungent fuel smell going on, I hope it still retains that post cure.

Wow, that is really beautiful.

My SK is much smaller, but I did not let it start too big.

I am paranoid about the stretch with new breeds. :0)

Thanks for sharing,

Thanks man, yours looks great as well! So, frosty!

See I am the opposite, I always go way overboard with veg, because everytime I flip early, it ends up being smaller than I expected. Even sativas. It seems like if you put them through a lot of training (FIM, LST, Supercrop) they really stay short. I have had almost pure sativas kept easily under 4 ft, even with a 6+ week veg.

So I usually opt for about a 6-8 week veg. It takes about 3 weeks to go from seed to 3-4 nodes roughly, and then about another 5 weeks to veg them into decent sized little bushes. In general for me, after I see pre-flowers, I keep vegging for another 2 weeks then flip.

glad i found this one...i have a sour kosher going she is 2 weeks in and i had to bend one of her branches because it was stretching so damn tall...so far so good tho...ill post a pic tom...also got the kosher tangie going

My Soko, Silver Kush, Martian Kush and LA are spending their first night in jars. I took them down on day 61 they were ready but the Martian could've gone another week.

I of course sampled them over the past few days. They all are very good, has me excited for what they will be like with a 2 - 3 week cure. The Silver Kush smells like a sour apple jolly rancher, I hope that doesn't change too much in cure. The Martian is the surprise, she is very potent about 80% head high, I had discounted her because she was a little slow getting into flowering, has decent frost but nothing to write home about.

The Soko and Silver are no joke in the potency department either. I will do smoke reports after a few weeks cure and put up some bud pics over the weekend.

What sort of data are you hoping for?

I enjoyed my SK smoke enough to be regrowing it.

Noting to post yet.

No worries....it was recently woken, and lifted into the active threads....

I love my HGK too. Mine was very finicky about nutes, but it loved me. :0)

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I just wanted to say that Im on my last week of this plant and have already taken a sample to taste.

Sour kosher is amazing! The flavor is unreal and strong. My pheno has a very kushy overall taste, but there is definitely some dank OG flavor in there, in the background I pick up some vanilla, chocolate, and cream. Overall, the flavor, to me, is best described as a kush flavored OG with a hint of horchata or egg nog.

I know it's one of the weirdest descriptions, but the flavor is super rich and deep. And behind it all is a touch of lemon.

Simply amazing, but it did put out one male ball early in flower.

Oddly, the resin has a definite pine smell with some kind of kush/cream back to it. I couldn't pick up any pine in the flavor, but definitely there in the resin. I get almost no fuel smell at all. It is very pleasant.

And pics from today (day 59 of flower)

ps: this is my first time growing this particular strain...

I certainly did not mind seeing this one wake up.

SK is an amazing breed. It is one of my keepers, along with
Somango, Holy Grail Kush, and a few others. The flavor and
strength are both very good. I got no balls tho.

One thing that struck me is that yours grew with much more classic
Kush structure. Mine was *a bit* of a wanderer...just a hair...

BTW: Your ladies look perfectly happy. Nice work.

JD

P.S. LOL, I can see my photos still up there. Mmmm that was a nice plant.

Lol, thanks!

There were a few people talking about color earlier in this thread, but my temps hardly fluctuate more than ten degrees f. So, I got no change, though the leaves in this plant are a slightly darker green than most of my other genetics (except for my BOG sour strawberry).
