specific question on harvest time

so my 2 plants are arjans haze #3, which has the following genetics
Sativa 80 / Indica 20
Origins - Neville's Haze x Super Silver Haze x Laos

i know the typical rule of thumb is cloudy=heady, up high, and amber is more of a stone, couch lock high. id like to know a little more specifically though

can you guys describe me what you think the smoke would be like (ie like taking speed; crazy thoughts and bright visuals; slight body high; mellow; etc.) if i harvested according to the following cloudy-to-amber %'s.

1) 90% cloudy; 10% amber

2) 80% cloudy; 20% amber

3) 60% cloudy; 40 % amber

4) 50%; 50%

im a fan of weed that doesnt put me to sleep and is fun for social situations, which is why i dont think i wanna go past 50-50. so whats your guess on how the high will be taking into account its primarily sativa?


p.s.
i do have a more general question. say i finally achieve the desired ratio of cloudy/amber, is that when i flush with 5 times as much water as my pot will hold, and then i wait an entire week before chopping? just concerned that will alter the ratio of cloudy-to-amber

I would say harvest around 60 40 since that will still give you a pretty good body high, but wont put you to sleep like if you harvested at 50 50. If you want a real energetic high go for 80 20. Anywhere in between will keep you feeling good and social. I would also start flushing maybe a week or so before you plan on harvesting.

I was also wondering about flushing. Do I actually flush with 3-5x the amount of water a few times or just do regular watering for 2 weeks with only water? Seems to confuse me if there are 2 different interpretations of the word.

if your plants have nut burn then you flush with 3-5 times your normal watering. If your doing it for harvesting you just use the regular amount with no nutrients.

if i have this correct, your saying for the watering schedule, before harvesting, you just stop giving it nutes for about a week, and water like normal?

i typically have heard that you flush with ~5 times the amount of water your bucket can hold a week before you want to cut it down, that way all the nutes get flushed out, so that the plant uses its stores, resulting in a less chemical taste when you smoke it.

can anyone else verify, or did i just misunderstand?

yeah just water like you normally would for a week. there is no need to over water your plant unless it is burned due to to much nutes. watering like normal without nutes will make the plant use up all remaining nutrients that it has stored up.
