Quick question--I topped a Speed Queen (I grew it from seed), rooted it, put it outside a few days ago to flower for sex. I know that whatever the genetic makeup of my original plant will be the same as this clone.
Last year was my first grow--and I waited too long to cull out the males. of course, my early harvests were pretty seedy, but the plants I put out late were all girls.![Blunt Smoke :blsmoke: :blsmoke:](/styles/smilies/piped.gif)
This year I want to get better at spotting the males as early as possible. In my mind, it's as easy as looking at humans--balls or no balls!![Mr. Green  ](/styles/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)
After spending so much time loving these plants and caring for them (sappy, I know), it's hard for me to cast them out of my garden without being totally sure.![Confused :-? :-?](/styles/smilies/icon_confused.gif)
So what do you think? Is this Speed Queen male or female?
