THE SETUP
80x80x160cm tent
4" extraction fan(187 m3/hour)
Buddy carbon filter (200 m3/hour)
Multi Spectrum 400w HPS, euro reflector & ballast
9" Oscillating Desk Fan

THE POT
12ltr Root Pouch fabric smart pot
BioBizz Light Mix
Perlite
Speed Seeds Auto Blueberry

This is somewhat of an experiment into cheap seeds vs mid priced seeds. Speed Seeds are by far the cheapest auto feminised seeds I've seen at £2.50 each, so for that money I thought I'd buy the full range, and stagger their grows, providing reports on each.

Staying true to their name, Speed Seeds are the speediest seeds I've planted. Dropped into pre watered and warmed pot (7ltr soil, 5ltr perlite) late Friday 25/03/16, showing her head clearly above ground today, in a little over three days. A new thread is born!

Fucking hell, she's not hanging about. Not even fully shed the seed casing yet, and I can see the start of the first two true leaves. If she's still got the seed casing by this time tomorrow, I'll give her a little help. Her younger sister (Northern Lights) isn't far behind. Expect her diary to start tomorrow!

Yeah man, it's the Speed Seeds from Pick And Mix. Hoping all the others are as perky, really had low expectations :)

If I just sends you the £2.50 and you deal with it then just me her when she's all bud would that be cool
Haha, of course mate. I'll warm up my carrier pigeon ready for the journey.

Me too man. Like I say, it's a bit of an experiment really. A lot of people are down on cheaper seeds, and there are of course some fantastic genetics out there at higher prices, but even the biggest and best breeders started out somewhere. These seeds are cheap enough that I'm not worried about making mistakes, and should make them very accessible to any novice growers. I'd be interested to run these in a SOG, but I'd need another tent. Not sure my girlfriend would allow it :D

Blah blah blah cheap seeds blah experiment blah.

No hanging about. Dropped seed into final pot (no paper towels, rockwool or shot glass for Sick!) late on 25th March, three days later and thaaarrr she blows!

2 days old today.

For some reason the separate threads for Blueberry and Northern Lights have been merged, which is a little annoying, and may get somewhat confusing.

Whatever.

I just finished up a speed seeds auto amnesia - £2.50 seed too. Given it was my first and had sub optimal conditions, she turned out well! Will be following this as inspiration for my next :weed:

Nice man. What was the yield? More importantly, how was the smoke? I still have Amnesia, Diesel and Skunk from Speed Seeds left, soon as I have some space!

Its drying as we speak but wet it was 80gs. I wouldnt use that as a guide tho as the pot was way too small, i rookied it with the soil choice and didnt have enough cfl light to begin. Done properly i reckon youd be looking at 3 times the yield
