Thank you- and it is such a great opportunity, because I am still working on my closet growroom. I currently have a 400w MH/HPS, bracketed by 100w LEDs. I can now run the new light side by side with the HID, and do a direct comparison. It’s a work in progress- as you can tell by my lousy cable management skills lol.

Congrats on the winning of a new light and please stay safe :hump: :peace:

That just makes me nervous looking at it.
Congrats on the win
Maybe double think safety.
It’s actually rather deceptive looking, but the actual plugs are above the floor, and on the outside of the plastic- I tried to be very careful. I am not quite sure how and where I want everything routed, but it will be much tidier when I get everything done. I would prefer to install a dedicated gfi outlet in the closet, but that takes more $ than I can spend at the moment.

Just fyi there’s a smoke detector in there, and an extinguisher handy.

Wires on the floor scare the crap out of me too. One good spill and zzzzzap.
Yup, that’s why I’m not done with it. Sloppy cable management bugs me, too, but I am not sure how I want to route everything, and I am still working on it. If you look closely, though, the actual plugs are off the floor and outside of the plastic (and I am very careful, because I don’t want anything to go wrong). I’ve also mounted a smoke detector in there, and keep a dedicated extinguisher handy.

The insulation on those cables is easily cut or roughed up and it can shock you even if it's not the plug. I'm a big fan of smoke detectors in grow rooms for sure. Please just be careful, I've been watering my plants while high and done some really dumb things over the years.

I call it how I sees it.
You do you, im not telling you what to do, simply commenting, and concerned for your safety is all. No grow is worth loosing your home or life in a fire.
There's general safety that most people follow to try and avoid issues.
If I'm working on a roof, i wear a harness so if I fall I don't die. ..... General safety

Oh I absolutely agree with you! It will look a lot better when I am able to get a proper extension cord for the room next month, because what I am using is too short (I have it simply snaked under the door). It is a work in progress.

See my other reply. This is strictly temporary, and I will have things much better organized in a week. I have terrible OCD and this bugs me, too!

I’m on a budget, so having to add equipment bit by bit is a bit frustrating…but sooner or later I’ll get there!

Btw I appreciate your concerns, and they’re valid. I’m not offended, you guys are just looking out for my safety and that’s cool.
