hello

outdoor balcony plants
I found what appears to be eggs on the bottom side
not sign of the mites themselves, nor can I see any webbing
i first noticed it on a healthy vegging plant with some unhealthy bottom leaves. so i flipped them over and what i saw was eggs, I believe.

I sprayed it with neem and left for the night. In the morning it has fallen but I'm hoping it will rise.

Now I see another plant in early flowering with the same eggs on bottom leaves. This one is in flo. week 3, and already most bottom leaves are yellow - I thought it was deficiencies now I see perhaps it's because of the mites?I cut one and took a photo - please tell me what this is, I'm pretty sure it looks like mite eggs pictures but still haven't seen any mites or webbings.

Please help

I don't see any signs if mites.. the eggs are nearly impossible to see with out magnification. There is nothing that resembles spider mites or the signs associated with them. If your lower leaves are dying you may have a nutrient deficiency.

I don't see evidence of mite but just to be safe, you should spray Neem Oil everyother day for nthe next 3 weeks or so and everything SHOULD be OK.

Spider Mites grow, lay their eggs & thrive on the underside of leaves where they lay their eggs and nourish their incessant appetites. You'll be able to notice, without magnification, the damage these bastards cause on the top side of the leaf, but you will NOT even begin to eliminate mites unless you spray the bottom. Spraying liquids (nutrients or pesticides) will not cause mold which is a condition resulting from a combination of moisture & humidity present, heat of room (high & low), lack of fresh air & circulation. Please post here or email me for more information on Spider Mites & possible remedies.

Id be careful when it comes to mites my man. Theyll bork your harvest in no time. Don't use commercial products. I was using mite rid and am now using liquid lady bug when its a problem for me. The cats down at gthydro.net carry it pretty cheap...
