Really need to know if this is spider mites or mold

I can't imagine me not noticing that mess before leaving a dispensary , let alone the grower or staff? Looks like a caterpillar cocoon

I know it was at the bottom of the prepackaged back…when i put it in my container my fiance pointed it out i went back they traded it for another oz im not going to smoke
