This gives me a headache. The whole purpose of trellis is to get an EVEN canopy. Not a peaks and valleys. But hey, it does look cool

It's actually a scrog. I bought what I thought was a package of string when I first started. Didn't know what a scrog was. I was just starting LST and was like 'who tf packages string like this?!'. Well I didn't wanna waste it.

You're gonna wanna even that thing out a bit so it's easier to work with. You should be able to find anchor points that keep your squares relatively square.

You should be able to just attach some different squares to your posts rather than trying to zip tie it off like that, though you'll probably get similar results with either method. Something to note for next time maybe.
What I do with similar style string nets is attach one side, then stretch the net along the side of my tent to another pole. I pull this taught and attach at the most convenient square. Then you can stretch this to another pole, pull it taught, and attach to a convenient square. Finally you just pull the last one over, taught, and attach. Then you can cut off the excess string.

You'll probably want to cut off the excess. Your branches / buds can get wrapped up in them and create a hassle during harvest.

I'll try something similar with my next one. I went in this like ok its putting a net over four poles this shouldnt be hard. Well it wasnt but my net was all cut up so it made it confusing.

I've been using the same nets for 5 years. They have a lot of holes now and are on their last leg, but it has been quite the bang for the buck. I'm going to get the stretchy kind when I replace them.

Yeah, my main net is a stretch boi and I like it a lot. I'm using the string net right now as additional support.
