hi everyone, my plants are in their fifth week of flowering and this morning i noticed a couple unwanted guests on 2 of my 3 plants i have in my backyard. i went to the hydro store and they recommended a product called 'azamax' to me. they assured me that 'azamax' wouldn't lower the grade of my finished product and that i could use it even in late flowering. is this true? i plan on using it at sunset tonight but wanted to get some input before i made my decision. i was also worried about a foliar feed causing mold on my bigger buds.

all input is greatly appreciated. i'll post some pics of my plants when i find my usb cable. thanks again.

i was going to use neem oil until my buddy told me it was only a preventative measure and wouldn't work so well if i already had a mite problem. did you use neem oil when your plants were budding? did you already have the infestation when you applied the neem oil?

i bought 100% neem oil and mixed it with a little soap and water and doses them every 3 days. It worked for the most part and i noticed alot less damage. i did not completely fix the problem though. Now im researching for stronger and more effective products. i heard pyrethrum bombs work great for mites. ill be trying that this weekend.

i didn't want to use neem oil because i thought it would be too thick for my plants 6 weeks into flowering so i decided to use 'azamax'. i first used it about a week ago using a sponge to apply it to the underside of my leaves without coating my buds. i tore a bunch a leaves trying to rub the sponge on the underside so a couple days ago i went to home depot and picked up a 2 gal sprayer from home depot and applied the 'azamax' at a 1% solution by misting the underside of all my leaves. the spidermites seem to have slowed, not sure yet if i've stopped them. i also tried using ladybugs but the little bastards took off after a quick meal.
