I had mites once. Used dr doom and azamax. Since then, I add azamax every 15 days to their water. Protects plant from inside out and I don't have to worry about whether I missed a leaf when I sprayed.

Do you really find azamax that good as a systemic? there are better.

U talking to me ??? I don't know either, I'm know thinking more of a ph issue. Im gonna start trying to get the ph closer to 5.5 when I do a rez change then it can rise in the low 6 range.

Like I said I think I seen a couple of mites, however I sprayed the plant (mostly bottom leaves) with azamax very well.

When I mix azamax with water does the water need to be a ph of around 6? or can I just take it out of tap ?? ppm is 140 out of tap and ph is about 7.8

AVID the best on the market. 2 ml per gal early vege and 1 ml per gal just before bloom. This stuff is geared toward mites and you will never see them again. Also use gnatrol once if using soil or coco, takes care of gnats for good.

Some of you are almost correct. The life cycle to lay eggs once hatched is about 4-5 days so you must re-spray several times to eliminate them. Or use a rosemary based spray or bomb to kill the eggs like sns 217. You WILL reinfest the room as you did to infect it to begin with. Most folks walk into and out of their rooms willy-nilly w/o any precaution agaisnt mites etc!!Change clothes washup!! Using predator bugs like lady bugs worksest before serious problems start, they will keep it managable but won't eliminate their food source. OSH carrys em. Praying mantis etc. wipe the bottoms of your leaVES TO RID BOTH EGGS AND ADULTS Safers soap works well for that. Prevention is key. Good air circulation and not bringing in non quarantined clones or plants. Inspect regularly the undersides and get osc fans going. Good Luck!!

Badmf does the water need to be ph'd down to 6 range or can I just take it out of tap and mix it with my pest killer??

you can go the natural route and get some predators. ladybugs or preying mantis eggs are readily available.

You can also spray with neem oil, azamax, dr doom, or numerout other products. If you're cheap, you can also spray with a solution of water and dish soap.

While using preds is a great choice over chemical warfare LBs will only hold the line and not eliminate the enemy. If you have enough to be seen with the naked eye it's too late, best used before an attack. Praying mantis eat lots of insect invaders but aren't on my list as the 2nd to use pirate bugs or predator mites are, expensive but you can find preds in a fridge at OSh stores if needed LB's are cheap there I release a tub every time I switch to bloom.
