Spinosad: is it really the "cure all" for bud infestation?

I have been reading alot of what might possibly be "hype" about this new organic(OMRI listed) naturally derived chemical called Spinozad. Apparently it works like kryptonite for thripes. It's also breifly mentioned to be effective against spider mites.

I don't have any pest issues yet, but I don't expect it will stay that way forever, I know spider mites are something almost every grower has to deal with eventually.

I'm wondering if it would be worth while for me to buy one of the expensive bottles of highly concentrated spinozad, I think they are about 80$ but should last along time.
I'm wondering if spinozad is in fact effective against spider mites? Is this stuff really all its being hyped up to be?

Edit: I can't edit the title but I meant to type "bug infestation" not bud infestation

no clue about the spider mites.. but i got thsi stuff called monterey insect spray.. has spinosad in it.. 18 bucks.. lasts a while.. and worked like a champ on thrips first spray.. my buddy said that theres this new SNS spray made directly for Spider mites.. and works amazingly.. just an idea.. i would suggest.. buying both.. and using every other time.. so they dont get immune to it ..

but i use the monterey as preventative.. i do not ever want spider mites.. thrips was a walk in the park so far.
