Daylight are 6500k for vegging.. anything under 3300k for flowering 2700 are the best for flowering and you can get them at lowes for cheap 65 watt spiril cfl... 23 watts or up only.. 4-6 about to get good growth. One 23 watt daylight 6500k cfl will sprout 1 seed in theory

I've seen a dozen or so plants under a couple 26watt bulbs until they get 6"-12"... most of the light is wasted anyways until they're several inches and have grown several nodes(canopy forming).

I've got 2 LST plants 6 weeks into veg under 2-23watt 1600 lumen 6500K and 5-13watt 900 lumen 2700K, total 7800 lumens. LST is working great with the CFL's cuz it keeps them low and you can get the lights mad close.

i hope that you are all aware that if you want a good harvest you need a lot of cfls and they need to be close in the first post the amount of light that is being used will be enuf untill its about 3 nodes or four for 1 plant i recomend about 150 watts fo cfl make sure the plant does not get past 1 foot in veg because it will grow more in its flowering cycle and if your plant gets 2 tall the cfls do not provide intense enuf light try to keep the plants small and keep the bulbs close or you will not get good weed and you wont get much of it... good luck to you all..
if you use CFLs properly you can yield well over an oz. a plant and in a space only 2 x 1 x 1.5 ft. area
