My nephew is going through a similar situation now with my brother. He calls me, because he knows I love him regardless. I'm afraid words fail me. I do not know how to help him other than to tell him how sorry I am, and I love him.

That's more help than you think. He has an outlet. Your brother needs to realize that his son has no choice in the matter. He is what he is. If he raised his son to be a moral and ethical person then he has nothing to worry about. Rejection is the worst case scenario. It rips your heart to shreds. Keep telling him you love him and listen with a sympathetic ear. Sometimes just having an ear to bend is more comforting than listening to well meaning platitudes. Direct him to the It Gets Better Project. It's a great program that supports LGBT youth.

Thank you. I will do just that. I am flying him home for Thanksgiving because he isn't welcome at my brothers. I pray I handle it right. He is a good, kind, and gentle young man that deserves better than what he is getting right now.

The critiques come from my former partners not myself. There are a lot of guys that don't find anal sex satisfying. In fact they find it quite painful. Everyone has their own thing. Anal sex isn't one of mine.
