Splicing old ends to new driver?

It's looks to be self-explanatory and the drivers themselves are well written out as far as the color code but I've never seen power cables use the colors pink and blue. It's always either red and black or sometimes white and black. The power cord seems obvious except that what the manufacturer calls Brown is actually pink. That's not a problem I don't think. I bypassed the dimmer function years ago so is there any reason to connect the dimmer leads at all or can I just throw a wire nut on the end? If anyone can offer any words of wisdom that might help me avoid trouble I would appreciate it. It's interesting that they ran out of the correct color wires. There must have been a sale on blue and pink.

Not a blue and pink but a black and grey.
